LeaseScores was founded in Raleigh, NC with a simple belief: landlords and tenants both deserve honest, accessible information before signing a lease.
Renting in Raleigh used to mean guessing. You'd find a listing on Craigslist, show up to a property, hope the landlord was decent, and sign a lease with your fingers crossed. Meanwhile, landlords had no way to read public reviews about a tenant's past rental experiences — the kind of honest, firsthand feedback that helps both sides know what to expect.
LeaseScores changes that. We're building a two-sided reputation platform where landlords and tenants can review each other honestly, check property availability in real time, and make informed decisions before committing to a lease.
We started in the Triangle — Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill — and we're now expanding across all of North Carolina. Our goal is to make the rental experience as transparent as buying a home, for both sides of the lease.
